Derek Winkley is a writer, producer, musician and speaker from Dallas, TX, now residing in Nashville, TN. Derek found his love for music playing keys, organ and drums in his dad’s church. He pours out passion, story, and unique expression through creativity, writing and producing records for multiple artists of various genres such as pop, country, christian, and hip-hop. He is currently a songwriter/producer for Integrity Music Publishing.

As a touring and session musician, Derek has worked with artists such as Blessing Offor, Rachael Lampa, Social Club Misfits, Ashley Kimbrae, Miles Davis Band, Day 26, Tedashii, Ghost-Note, Jaguar Wright, Mark Lettieri Trio, Liz Vice, Jonathan Traylor, Canon, Steven Malcom, and many more. Derek has also been a part of performances featured on BET Awards, Essence Festival, Passion Conference, Jazz A La Vilette, Dove Awards, KLove Fan Awards, Jennifer Hudson Show, and Good Morning America.

Derek has a heart for community and philanthropy and shares his experiences through his company Creative Culture Co. where he seeks to bring light and dignity to all walks of life. Derek's drive comes from his desire to bring innovation to life whether writing, speaking, or engaging with the community. His vision is for true collaboration that will build lifelong impact.
